DC Maintenance Technician (Thomson, Georgia)
Description of Essential Job Functions:

This position will be responsible for, but not limited to: Maintenance and repair of all industrial equipment used within and around the distribution area; Mechanical repair of warehouse racks, bins and/or floats; General maintenance and repair, i.e., change light bulbs and ballasts; Maintain maintenance records, log repairs, costs and labor time; Order parts; Perform weekly PM?s on machinery. Able to perform basic repairs of plumbing leaks or breaks; open clogged lines and drains. Able to paint and perform basic carpentry work. Must have proficient welding skills.

Qualifications:

6 mos. to one year general maintenance experience; Prior machinery repair experience or highly mechanically inclined; Sufficient strength (lift up to 50 lbs.) and dexterity (ability to bend, stoop, walk, kneel, etc.) to work on machinery and lift parts; Must be able to communicate effectively with others; Must be able to read documents, instructions and work-related papers; Must be able to work well with others.

Education Required:

High School - Diploma/GED
