| | | Truck Driver- Mulberry, FLDescription of Essential Job Functions: This position will be responsible for, but not limited to: Responsible to safely and economically deliver and unload merchandise to all stores, pick up returned items from stores and deliver to designate areas and pick up good from factories and deliver to warehouses. Maintain and create daily DOT logs for on-road inspections by DOT. Perform pre and post equipment inspections on all equipment assigned. Maintain equipment in clean and serviceable condition.
Qualifications: Must have valid Class A CDL with 3 points or less; 1-2 years of warehouse/traffic experience; 2-4 years delivery/traffic experience; ability to read and understand maps and directions; ability to lift up to 75 lbs., walk, stand, sit for long driving periods, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, twist and reach with hands and arms; basic mechanical skills; must be able to communicate effectively with others.
Education Required: EDUCATION REQUIRED:High School-Diploma/GED Driver Compensation: Mileage - $0.35 Cube - $0.0232 Layover Pay - $35.00 (per layover) Drop & Hook - $10.00 DOT Check - $15.00 (per occurrence when a driver passes DOT Roadside inspection w/out violations) Working Hourly Wage - $15.00 Benefit Hourly Wage - $22.66
