Over one hundred years ago, Badcock Home Furniture &more was founded by Henry Stanhope Badcock in Mulberry, Florida, where our headquarters is located today. During the Great Depression in the 1920s, Henry”‘‘s son, Wogan, saw that many families were struggling financially and were unable to afford the furniture they needed. Seeing an opportunity to help, he decided to sell furniture to clients on credit and allow them to pay it off in installments. This allowed many people to provide their family with the comfort that a home should have at prices and payments that worked for them.
